Today I want to share with 5 baby must haves I didn't know I needed until I got to use them.
These are definitely baby products that should be added to every baby registry. I hope this post is helpful to new and future mommies.
These are definitely baby products that should be added to every baby registry. I hope this post is helpful to new and future mommies.
1. Ooogie Bear Infant Nose and Ear Cleaner- If your baby has boogies you need this tool, best $13 spent! I was having a hard time removing dried boogies from Chloe's nose, until I found this tool. The Oogie Bear tool is called the better booger tool for a reason. The tool has two ends one is a loop end for sticky boogers and the other one is a scoop end for dried boogies. This tool makes it really easy to remove boogies from your baby's nose to help them breath easier. You can also use this tool to clean your babies ears.
2. NeilMed Naspira Nasal Aspirator -I always told myself I will never use snot sucker, it always grossed me out, but once you become a mother nothing grosses you out anymore and you will do anything to make your baby feel better. The first few months Chloe was getting congested often. My peditrician recommended me to use saline drops and this nasal aspirator. What I like about the aspirator versus the famous NoseFrida is that it is two in one you can use it with the suction tube or without it. It is transparent so you can see what it is inside to make sure no mold forms in it, and you can also break it apart for easy cleaning and sterilizing. I purchased mine at my second home Target for $12.99.
3. Rocking Chair- Through my whole pregnancy I was debating if I wanted to splurge on a rocking chair. My mom actually bought a set of two from our neighbor for a really good price and it was the best gift I could ever receive. You need a comfortable place to nurse your baby, specially during the first few weeks of recovery. We have one in Chloe's nursery and one in the living room. If you don't want to spend a lot of money look into getting gently used one from a friend or the internet, people are always selling their nursery furniture after their babies grow. Make sure to also get a ottoman to rest your feet you can find really inexpensive ones at Ross or Marshall's.
4. Sophie the Giraffe -I never understood the purpose of a $25 teething toy until I gave it to my baby. I actually received this toy as a baby shower gift. I was never planning to get it but after seeing how much Chloe loves it I understand the hype around this toy. Sophie besides being a super cute toy it also stimulates the baby's five senses. It is a great toy to give your busy baby when they are teething. This is a must have item to add to your baby registry if you are pregnant.
5.Baby Carrier - This is another baby item that I always said I will never use. I ended up buying one after giving birth and I love it. I have the Infantino Flip Front 2 Back Carrier, I got mine at Marshall's for $24.99. I like this specific carrier because is not too big, it doesn't have too many straps or buckles and it easy to put on. It also offers three carrying positions: facing in, facing out and backpack position. I personally like to wear Chloe facing out that way she can explore around while mommy cruises down the Target isles. Baby carriers make it easy to walk around with your baby and give the option of not having to bring the stroller everywhere. Not every carrier is for everyone, I definitely recommend to research and get the carrier that best suits your body and your needs.
Chloe's ready to conquer the world with mommy!
xoxo,
Sandralis
