Current Skincare Favorites

These are the products I am currently using for my morning skincare routine.

  • St. Ives Green Tea Scrub- I have been loving using this scrub in the mornings, specially now in summer my skin gets more oily through the day I like to start my day with a clean face. I love that this scrub has green tea which is great for fighting blemishes and also soothing the skin. This scrub is very gentle for my skin unlike other scrubs I am able to use this scrub every other day without irritating my skin.
  • Simple Soothing Facial Toner- I can't have a skincare routine without a toner. I have enlarged pores in some areas of my face and using a good toner definitely helps the cause. I have used several products from the Simple skincare line and this toner has definitely been my favorite. This toner has chamomile which is a great soothing ingredient and it has witch hazel which helps refined the pores. Since I have sensitive combination skin I need to use products that are simple and gentle to my skin, this toner is perfect for my skin.
  • Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer - First of all this moisturizer smells delicious it has cucumber and mango extracts, it smells like a tropical starburst. But what I really like about this product is its texture, it is a gel base face lotion that really makes your skin feel refreshed and moisturized without any greasy residue.
All these products are really inexpensive and you can find them at any drugstore I purchased all at Target. If you have any questions about these products feel free to leave a comment.

xoxo,
Sandra

I became a mom | Birth Story

Hello everyone! It has been almost two years since my last post. A lot has happened, but the most important thing, I became a mother. On May 25, 2017 I gave birth to my daughter Chloe Alessandra. I wanted to blog my whole pregnancy but life was so hectic I never found the time to start. My friend Mayra recently gave birth to her beautiful daughter Giselle and she just started her own blog :  Giselle y Mama Go check out her blog, I loved her first post, and it inspired me to start blogging again. Let's start with my birth story! I gave birth at 39 weeks and 5 days, my due date was May 27. My labor and delivery were nothing like I imagined. On my last doctor's appointment the doctor spoke to me about having an induction the following week because I was not showing any signs of dilation. I was hoping things would start progressing before my due date and they did. Tuesday night around 10:30pm I started having very mild cramps. I had been drinking a lo...

COMFY CHIC

For my first post I want to show you an awesome pair of faux leather sweatpants I got at Urban Outfitters two days ago. They were having 50%off their clearance I only paid $10 for this fantastic piece. Sweatpants have been a huge trend for Fall and Winter. What I love the most about this specific pair is that it is a very versatile piece that you can be dress up or down. I wanted to keep this outfit comfortable but chic, so I decided to throw on a comfy sweater I got also on clearance at American Eagle. I love the back detail of the sweater it gives a nice touch to the whole outfit. To give a little bit of glam to the outfit I wore this jeweled necklace from forever 21 and strappy heels from Lulus . The sweatpants have pockets! Find the necklace  ( here ). xoxo, Sandra
